Northern Vertex Increases Non-Brokered Private Placement Financing to $3.5 Million

Vancouver, B.C. - Northern Vertex Mining Corp. (TSX.V:NEE) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that due to investor interest in its previously announced Non-Brokered Private Placement (the "Private Placement") (see news release dated May 26, 2014) the Company has increased the Private Placement from 10 million units, to up to approximately 14 million units (each "Unit"), for increased aggregate gross proceeds to the Company of up to $3,500,000, the purchase price of $0.25 per Unit remains unchanged.

Each Unit consists of one common share ("Common Share") of the Company and one-half transferable share purchase warrant ("Warrant"). Each whole Warrant will entitle the holder to acquire one Common Share at an exercise price of $0.50 (from $0.60) for a period of 24 months from the closing date of the Private Placement, with no acceleration clause. All other terms of the Private Placement remain unchanged. Cash finders' fees within TSX Venture Exchange policy guidelines may be paid in connection with the Private Placement.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the Private Placement for the advancement of the Company's Moss Mine Gold-Silver earn-in property located in Mohave County, NW Arizona, USA, primarily the completion of a feasibility study and for general corporate purposes. All securities issued will be subject to a four month hold period. The Private Placement and payment of any finder's fee are subject to acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange.
