Northern Vertex Announces $2.5 Million Non-Brokered Private Financing

Vancouver, B.C. - Northern Vertex Mining Corp. (TSX.V:NEE) (the "Company") is pleased to announce a Non-Brokered Private Placement (the "Private Placement") of up to approximately 10 million units (each "Unit") at a purchase price of $0.25 per Unit, for aggregate gross proceeds to the Company of up to $2,500,000.

Each Unit consists of one common share ("Common Share") of the Company and one-half transferable share purchase warrant ("Warrant"). Each whole Warrant will entitle the holder to acquire one Common Share at an exercise price of $0.60 for a period of 24 months from the closing date of the Private Placement, subject to acceleration as set out below. The expiry date of the Warrants may be accelerated, at the sole option of the Company, to 30 business days following the date on which the Company gives notice that its common shares have closed for 20 consecutive trading days at a price of $0.85 or greater. Cash finders' fees within TSX Venture Exchange policy guidelines may be paid in connection with the Private Placement.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the Private Placement for the advancement of the Company's Moss Mine Gold-Silver earn-in property located in Mohave County, NW Arizona, USA, primarily the completion of a feasibility study and for general corporate purposes. All securities issued will be subject to a four month hold period. The Private Placement and payment of any finder's fee are subject to acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange.
